General improvements + changes
Litigation Database Coverage Update
Audit Analytics is updating the scope of its Litigation database.
Beginning with filings submitted on or around May 1, 2026, litigation data collection will be limited to disclosures contained in annual filings, including:
- 10-K
- 10-KT
- 20-F
- 40-F
- Amendments to the above filing types
As a result, litigation disclosures contained in the following filing types will no longer be collected:
- 10-Q filings and amendments
- Registration statement filings
This change applies only to filings submitted on or around May 1, 2026. Historical litigation records collected from these filing types before the effective date will continue to be available in the database.
Improved YoY change logic for audit fee data on Europe company profiles
Year-over-year (YoY) audit fee change calculations and display logic have been improved to ensure accurate results when reporting currencies change across years. YoY percentages are now calculated only between comparable values in the same currency, with N/A displayed when currency changes or required exchange rate data is unavailable. Additionally, instances with no year-over-year change now consistently display 0% instead of a blank value, improving clarity and data consistency across fee reporting views.
Data dictionary updates
Data dictionaries for all Audit Analytics databases have been comprehensively reviewed and enhanced. Updates include:
- Review and validation of all content against the database downloads.
- Verification of information accuracy and consistency across databases.
- Standardization of field definitions and overall formatting.
- Addition of supplemental context and explanatory details to improve clarity and usability.
These updates provide a more consistent, accurate, and user-friendly reference experience across all of our databases.
To help ensure these resources remain accurate and up to date, all Audit Analytics data dictionaries will also undergo a semi-annual review process, providing users with regularly maintained and standardized documentation across the platform.
