Do the Canada databases link to the SEC databases?
Canada databases are separate from the SEC and Europe databases. However, if a Canadian company is also registered with the SEC, it can be connected to the SEC databases using its CIK code.
How can I search for director and officer changes for Canadian companies?
A Director and Officer Changes database is not currently available for Canadian-listed companies. Feed 17 DIRECTOR_AND_OFFICER_CHANGES covers SEC-registered companies only. If a Canadian company is also registered with the SEC, its CIK code can be used to search for SEC disclosed changes in Feed 17. These changes will not include SEDAR disclosures.
Canada – Restatements
Does the Canadian Restatements database contain SIC classifications?
No. SEDAR does not use SIC classifications. However, each SEDAR issuer has been mapped to an appropriate NAICS code.
