2. Understanding the collection methodology
The Fund Registrant Audit Fees database collects fee disclosure data submitted to the SEC by '40 Act filers. This data is sourced from the following form types: N-CSR, N-CSR/A.
Each record represents one fee disclosure at the registrant level per filing. For open-end funds, the registrant issues one or more filings reporting on the individual underlying funds. For closed-end funds, the registrant is the fund itself.
Note: Business Development Companies (BDCs), which file 10-Ks rather than N-CSRs, are excluded from this database.
Financial data (Market Cap, Revenue, Assets) is matched on fiscal year end date. When the Financials Date field is null or zero, corresponding financial information could not be matched.

ISIN and CUSIP numbers are available pursuant to the CUSIP Click Agreement accepted by the user prior to initial access.
