Europe Audit Opinion Signature Date methodology change
We have made changes to the Europe Audit Opinion signature date methodology in regard to blank signature dates. We discovered that if opinions did not have a signature date, our current auditor logic was leaving those companies without an active engagement in our system.
To remedy this and prevent European companies from being without an engagement when an opinion does not contain a signature date, opinions where no signature date is provided will now use the source file date. Our research team began implementing this new methodology effective October 27, 2025, and all records collected since then follow this change. The team is working to review existing records and anticipate completing their review by end of year. There is currently a low volume of opinions, and very few of those have blank signature dates so it is unlikely you will notice the impact.
NAICS Codes Updates
In response to direct client feedback asking to see more recent industry classification codes, we are transitioning from 2002 NAICS codes to 2022 NAICS codes, delivering the most up-to-date information. 2022 NAICS code and description are now available for feeds users to add, and we anticipate that all 2022 codes will be available in December as our team works to assign the new codes to companies. Efforts to make these codes available on AuditAnalytics.com are in progress, and we anticipate those additions in 2026. We will continue to deliver 2002 codes into 2026.
