1. Features
1.1. Fund registrant audit fees database
Fund registrant audit fees data set is now available for ESG + Funds subscribers! This new data set tracks audit fee disclosures by '40 Act filers at the registrant level per N-CSR filing since January 1, 2018. Each record contains information about the auditor, the fees paid (audit, audit related, tax, and other), plus the funds associated with that fee disclosure.
The Fund registrant audit fees data provides the fullest view of audit fees paid by funds in Audit Analytics, enabling you to understand the fees for fund complexes. You can also easily link to the fund audit fees database to see fund level fees as available.
Search page and download
Users can search through N-CSR audit fee disclosures, filtering by various attributes such as auditor, CIK, amount of audit fees, non-audit fees, or total fees, and the number of funds associated with the record.
Search results can be exported into a CSV file for further analysis.
1.2. Audit opinions - duplicate records
We removed a condition that excluded certain duplicate audit opinion records from the download. These are not new records and were not previously missing; they are duplicates of records that already exist. This change will add approximately 2,500 rows to the audit opinion downloads.
1.3. Form AP
We expanded the methodology for matching opinions to Forms AP. Previously excluded duplicate opinions will now be matched to a Form AP. Approximately 6,700 rows will be added to the Form AP download on the Audit Opinion search page.
2. Fixes
We resolved the following bugs in Q1 2025:
- An issue where counties were not being saved in the company location filter on multiple search pages.
- Saved search alerts were unable to be set for restatement searches.
