1. Canada updates

• Due to changes in our source data, the Canadian module has been updated as follows:
  • Industry Type has been removed from the Industry filter on all search pages and Canadian company profiles, as well as from the Canadian Public Companies Clients download on auditor profiles.
  • The following fields have been removed from all Canadian downloads:
    • Business Phone
    • Business Fax
    • Contact Fax
    • Industry Key
    • Industry Description
  • The following fields have been added to all Canadian downloads:
    • Phone
    • Fax

2. New features and improvements

2.1. Saved search alerts

• Receive daily, weekly, or monthly email alerts for saved searches on:
  • AAERs
  • ERISA - Company Annual and Current
  • ERISA - Current and Annual

2.2. PCAOB Inspection Reports Independence Non-compliance

• In response to the 2023 expanded inspection report, we've included data on auditor independence non-compliance.
  • A filter for “Independence Non-compliance” has been added to the search page to help identify reports with these issues.
• The auditor profile now includes the “Number of Independence Non-Compliance Instances,” showing total PCAOB and audit firm reported instances.

  • Reorganized the Issues section of the PCAOB Inspection Report tab into four categories: Audit Deficiencies, Auditor Independence, Firm’s Response, and Accounting Issues. Each category will only display if relevant issues are present in the report.

3. Download datapoint additions

We added new datapoints to the following downloads:
