The Auditor Engagements database is available online, through WRDS, and through data feeds [Feed07] with the relevant subscription.

3. Collection methodology
- The engagement logic relies on databases like Auditor Changes and Audit Opinions.
- The auditor is identified using a proprietary algorithm based on the latest “Engaged Auditor Date” from Auditor Changes, “Signature Date” from Audit Opinions, and “Year Ended” from Audit Fees.
